SIMPLIFIED MOLAR SOLUTION

BD Cuff®

BD Cuff® is designed to protect the implant-tissue interface, minimizing crestal bone loss wile supporting healthy soft tissue integration. The result is greater implant stability, long-term aesthetics, and confidence for both clinician and patient.

Design Concept

Special Solution for Molar Defects

Enables implant placement in thin alveolar bone, low bone height, or defective alveolar bone using a simple epicrestal placement technique.

Collaboration of BD and ARi Concepts

Features proven BD X-FIT® connection, compatible with existing BD components, and innovative ARi design.

Detailed Features

Magic Cuff

Innovative design for reduced complications

Soft tissue cuff (>2mm) prevents thread contamination and peri-implantitis, while being easy to manage and remove in case of complications.

Designed to protect implants from complications

With adequate soft tissue height (>4mm), BD Cuff® implants prevent crestal bone loss and contamination, especially in areas with thin gingiva (<2mm).

Detailed Features

Clinical Indications

Suitable for a wide range of clinical scenarios

Effective for thin ridges, bone defects, and dehiscence. Supports epicrestal, subcrestal placement, or soft tissue augmentation.

 Streamlined one-stage surgery

Final prosthesis placement possible within 1-1,5 months. Addresses bone issues early without the need for extensive grafting.

Detailed Features

Implant Selection

 Assess the available bone height

Measure the distance from the crestal bone to the inferior alveolar nerve to determine the total implant length that can be placed.

 Determine the cuff height

Determined based on defective one height. (If the bone height is 3mm, select a 4mm cuff height).

 Determine Implant Diameter

The diameter should match the site-specific bone and gingival conditions for optimal stability.

Detailed Features

Drilling & Placement

 Follow the Drilling Process

Start with a lance drill, followed by drills in the sequence: 2.5mm, 2.9m, 3.3mm, 3.6mm and 3.9mm. Adjust drilling based on bone density (D1/D2) & Implant Diameter.

 Ensure Proper Insertion Torque

Maintain an insertion torque of 80Ncm or les when using the 45Ncm ratchet connector for safe and effective implant placement.
