Immediate implantology 

There are clear reasons why immediate implantology should be part of daily practice. However, this treatment method is often demonized and avoided. This needs to change, but this can only happen if physicians change their stance. The advantages of immediate implants are: 

• Preservation of soft tissue architecture prior to extraction 

• Toothlike profile of the soft tissue 

• Fewer functional problems with posterior implants 

• More aesthetic result in the anterior region 

• Faster treatment for patient and dentist 

• All this is much more difficult or sometimes impossible to achieve with implants placed “delayed 

The following issues will be covered during the Zero Bone Loss Concepts – Experience Immediate Placement Mastercourse: 

• Why should we place implants immediately? 

• Why are immediately placed implants still considered risky? 

• Why are immediately placed implants successful? What about Osseointegration, profile and peri-implant tissues? Or with Primary stability and crestal bone levels? 

• Immediate placement of implants in the molar region. What about implant depth, stability, bone remodeling, healing abutments and soft-tissue grafts? What are type A, B and C extraction alveoli? 

Hands-on

During the course, there will be hands-on training on models in our MINEC Education Center (Oisterwijk).
